Colorful Styled Micro Wedding in Olympic Valley Stables

When I say this day was full of color, joy, and allllll the feels, I mean it. Ardia and Shirley’s styled micro-wedding at Olympic Valley Stables was amazing! Think bold florals, personal touches, and the most fun dance floor vibe. This celebration was brought to life with a handful of lovely wedding vendors, and WOW, did it come to life beautifully.

Why I Love Olympic Valley Stables for Micro-Weddings

Olympic Valley Stables has been in Mich’s family for generations, and you can feel the heart in this place. While it has room for larger weddings, it truly shines for intimate celebrations. That wide-open meadow with sweeping views of the mountains? Freakin’ breathtaking. The quiet charm of this venue is what makes it so special. It’s rustic in the best way, with an openness that lets you use the space however you dream it.

And dream, we did.

Everything about this day was deeply purposeful. From the colorful lounge setup to the jaw-dropping tablescapes (can we talk about those amber goblets and velvet linens?!), every detail was curated with care. The florals brought in pops of orange, pink, and deep burgundy—a total celebration of fall in Tahoe.

One of my favorite moments was after Ardia and Shirley changed into their reception outfits.  You could see them visibly relax, kick back, and really enjoy the celebration. From custom suits to epic dance moves, they brought the party to life. Also, can we have a moment for the rainbow cake? The day really was everything and more!

The Intentional Design of This Colorful Micro Wedding

What I loved most was how this micro-wedding used the space. The outdoor dinner setup was straight out of a dream. Although the guest count was small, the atmosphere was elevated and immersive.

This day showed how much intention can fit into an intimate wedding. A thoughtful venue, a team of vendors who care deeply, and a couple that radiates joy? That’s THE formula for an incredible day!
